👋 If you haven't joined our community yet, click “Join us on Slack” at http://workonclimate.org/

One of our core values is a laser focus on action - the singular purpose of the community is to help people begin working on climate.

We're all in this together, this is a young industry and everyone is in it for the right reasons, so many of us will end up being coworkers or cofounders, or at least working together through some of the community programs! If you are looking for a place to start, meet climate experts who have volunteered to help start your climate journey.

What channels and resources exist?

Almost all channels involve aspects of one's path towards climate (learning, finding work opportunities, finding people to work with, etc.) and have a very high signal-to-noise ratio and relatively low volume.

Channels for specific locations

We have a location-based channels for continents and countries, e.g. #geo-europe, #geo-canada and #geo-australia-newzealand. For cities we have a growing number of locale channels that can be found with the prefix #meet- like #meet-berlin #meet-chicago #meet-dc #meet-lisbon #meet-montreal #meet-nyc #meet-oregon #meet-philadelphia #meet-seattle #meet-sf-bay-area #meet-toronto #meet-vancouver-bc. Read more about it in our announcement.
